La Suze is a gentian-based aperitif created in 1889. Its success was great in 20th-century France, and the brand, like its competitors, supplied cafes and restaurants with promotional items like this one. After the Evin law of 1991, which restricted alcohol advertising and banned smoking in public places, they disappeared from bistros and counters.
This rare ceramic ashtray in perfect condition has survived its time and will nicely decorate a shelf or desk. Its colors and design, typical of the 1970s, will add a vintage touch to your interior.
