Instamatic is a range of affordable consumer cameras launched by Kodak in 1963. Numerous models were developed over the years, with varying degrees of luxury and various manual and automatic adjustment options, from the basic 100/104 series to the automatic 800/804 models.
More than 50 million Instamatic cameras were sold between 1963 and 1970. In France, the Instamatic, inexpensive and easy to use, made an excellent gift for children: many Christmas photos were taken with an Instamatic. Kodak brought photography into the households.
This Instamatic 100, in perfect working condition, is offered complete, in its original box with instructions in French. Since the 126 film is still available, you will appreciate the vintage look of images taken with this symbol of popular photography in the 1970s.
