ENGRAVED “REYMONDON” ON THE LID
The A.Bourgeat- Aluminum Dauphinois company, located in Les-Abrets-en-Dauphiné (Isère), has been producing aluminum and steel household items since the 1920s.
The lunch box, also called “a snack box”, was very common on construction sites in France in the 1930s.
This one belonged to a certain Reymondon, a plumber at the Bianchetti company in Belleville-sur-Saône. To distinguish it from those of his colleagues, he had engraved his name on it, as was the tradition at the time.
