The Manufacture Française d’Armes et Cycles de Saint-Etienne (Manufrance), founded in 1897,
specialized in hunting weapons and bicycles. It soon diversified its offerings to the point of
distributing its 400-page catalog to 1,500,000 French households, a catalog that quickly became the
bible of mail-order sales and a delight for all French children. Manufrance products, renowned for their high quality and durability, were in every French household all along the 20th century.

This hair clipper , presented here in its original box, is typical of the 1950’s period. Used by professional barbers, reliable and easy to maintain, it’s made of stainless steel. Excellent condition.
